Our synthetic ice is designed so that almost anyone can install it. Each panel is small enough to handle with one person but we recommend having another set of hands to assist you with the installation.

This product ships with the complete installation and maintenance instructions.

Synthetic ice rinks by IcePro consist of specially formulated plastic panels that compare favorably to natural ice skating surfaces. No tools are required to install this product other than a rubber mallet.

Site preparation:

• Must be located on a stable (solid) level surface. A sub floor is recommended if the current surface is not level or stable.
• Clean the area to be used of dirt and debris
• Plan your layout

One person can complete a 12 x 12 ft installation in approximately 30 minutes (if you are really slow) with no prior experience.

IcePro1800B - High Performance commercial panel with unique "panel-lock" system

Each panel has a precision cut groove around each side. We ship specialized fasteners (splines) with your product to ensure there is a tight joint between panels.

Tools you will need:

• Rubber or wooden mallet is recommended or use a standard hammer with a wooden block
• Depending on the size and configuration your may need a jig saw or chop saw to cut the fasteners to the appropriate lengths.
• A pair of work gloves is recommended

Site preparation:

• Clean the area to be used of dirt and debris
• Plan your layout
